In "All the Movies I Saw with Allyson",

Adam, the hero, is based loosely on

writer/director Andy Maycock, whose

obsession with movies as a young man

was both his comfort zone and the

thing that made him weird to everybody

else. Part rule-follower, part

relationship-obsessive, part film nut,

and all well-meaning, Adam just needs

someone to help him get out of the rut he carved for himself when Allyson broke up with him over a year ago. And now that Allyson's coming back to town after being in Italy for an entire school year, Adam figures if he revisits the movies they saw together, he can be the same man he was when they dated. It's a hare-brained scheme, and one that his friends John K. and Jenny are eager to stop. Over the course of one night, Jenny shows Adam how he's not really alone - he's just decided he is.

Think 1980's teen rom-com mixed with the one-night journey of our heroes in "American Graffiti." Cars, mini-golf, big hair, and so much pop music.

Sometimes, the cast gets together to stay sharp and casually run through a scene. This one - Scene 10 - explains Adam's goal to find the five movies before Allyson gets back from Italy.
